Heli Tattari is getting used to homeowners thanking her. As sales manager for the Redmond boutique condominium communityTowne Pointe, she says new owners continually tell her how delighted they are with their choice of address.
“Today’s buyers want it all — looks, quality, location, livability — and they want it all at a good value. When you put our finish materials, home designs and location side by side with other communities on the market today, there really isn’t any comparison. Add to that our pricing — which starts at $351 per square foot — and it’s an amazing opportunity,” says Tattari.
“The owners we have are very savvy; they shopped around and understand how special Towne Pointe is.”
Just 10 minutes to the Microsoft Campus, the community is located in the heart of Redmond, across the street from the Bella Bottega Shopping Center with a cinema, casual and date night dining, and services and amenities including a spa, fitness center and grocery.
Since moving in this past summer, Tattari notes that Towne Pointe owners have discovered just how pedestrian-friendly downtown Redmond really is. “They can walk to Redmond Town Center or catch a movie across the street. One of our homeowners loves the close proximity to the Sammamish River Trail and heads there often for a jog. Another of our homeowners moved here from San Francisco and really appreciates that everything is so close by.”
Adding to their appeal, the condominiums
range in size from 1,190 to 1,782 square feet, so they “live” like single-family
homes without the single-family home maintenance, says Bob Yount, developer of Towne Pointe. “We offer a true lock-and-go lifestyle without sacrificing space — your heirloom dining room set or king-sized bedroom furniture will fit fine here.”
Buyers can choose from six one-bedroom-
plus-den, 1.5-bath or two-bedroom-plus-den, two-bath home designs as well as six finish schemes that pair natural materials like polished granites and sleek hardwoods with eye-catching elements such as dramatic lighting and mosaic stones.
“No home is duplicated on a floor. Each has its own personality. Some are more traditional, others contemporary, still others have a color palette that allows for home-owners to reinvent their style as their tastes change,” says Yount.
Each home has a true sense of entry to welcome homeowners and their guests while oversized windows fill the spaces with natural light. In the gourmet kitchens, amateur chefs will appreciate the ample storage with full upper solid hardwood cabinets, pantry cabinets or pantries with frosted glass doors, microwave cabinets, and kitchen TV shelves, pre-wired for convenience. Slab granite graces countertops and stainless steel KitchenAid appliances — including five-burner drop-in gas ranges — complete the look.
Homes at Towne Pointe have separate powder rooms and laundry rooms, large walk-in closets complete with a California Closet package, gas fireplaces with handcrafted custom surrounds and five-piece baths in master suites. The master baths are outfitted in striking granite countertops, large framed mirrors, decorative backsplashes and coordinated ceramic tile flooring. Showers are wrapped in floor-to-ceiling tile and include a shower system with handheld spray. Oversized soaking tubs with pull-out spray complete the spa experience.
Additional amenities include entertainment-
sized private decks or patios and controlled-access entry and parking, as well as a community atrium lit by a massive skylight and furnished with plush seating and elegant furnishings. Surrounding homes have partial glass block walls on rooms adjacent to the atrium so that sun streaming through the skylight pours into the homes as well.
Homeowners even have their own park behind the community. Set in a landscape
of mature trees, residents can play with their dogs in a fenced environment or take in the peaceful setting on one of the benches.
